Off to Cabo San Lucas for a vacation.

Good evening, my friends, and an early MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you. Thanks for dropping by again.
Yes, we’re leaving in the morning for Cabo San Lucas to catch a few more Marlin and enjoy a well-deserved vacation after all of these book signings.
Thanks again to everyone who has helped us make “Signs of Our Times” a HUGE success. We’ve sold 550 copies now. There are only 150 more copies on hand at the Boyd residence.
We have one more book signing planned for all you folks in Lufkin, TX. It is tenatively scheduled for December 22 at the Starbucks Coffee House. I’m sorry to say I don’t know the address at this time, but come see us and pick up your copy before they are all gone.
We packed up the last of the gift boxes for our troops this last Wednesday and Thursday, so they are on the way to the guys and gals in Iraq. All of us who worked on the boxes said a small prayer that we won’t have to be doing this again at this time next year. Let’s get the battle won and let our troops come home!
But, back to the fishing in Cabo. We hope to catch at least one more LARGE Marlin. If we do, we’ll take lots of pictures and get them posted to my website. Look for them in January.
When we return from Cabo and land in Houston, we’ll drive over to our son’s home in Lufkin to spend the holidays with his family. We should be home around the 27th of December and I’ll try to get the pictures posted shortly thereafter. (You can see how confident I am that we’ll catch fish.)
So, thanks again to all of you. We leave you with wishes for a joyous holiday season for every one who visits the website and my BLOG.
I hope I’ve managed to make your life a little better with my ramblings and stories. Let me know what you think by making a comment at the end of this and the other entries, including my short stories.
There’s a new story posted, just as I promised. Take time to read and enjoy it.
MERRY CHRISTMAS. May God bless and keep you safe. See you next time.

Karl & Carol
